Every year more than a thousand architects graduate in a country and hundreds of thousands in the whole world. Being an amazing architect would not be enough to get people to like your designs and get them hire you as their architect. You would need to make an extra effort. Yes, and that is by promoting your designs to them and letting the people know how great you are as an architect. But how would you do that? You actually have a lot of choices. You can use the newspaper and the television, but that would mean you would have to spend so much just to get people know you. I am suggesting that you use another powerful tool of advertizing. There is another one and I am talking about the internet.

Being an internet user, you are not only limited to surfing the net for some stuff but you have the capacity to make your own website and advertize your designs and you yourself as an architect. You can make a website. Website is just a number of web pages grouped together. In your webpage you can put a lot of stuff that will promote you as an amazing architect.

You can put a lot of information about you. You can add there your academic background. If you have been an achiever in your schooling years then that would give an extra points for you. At present where the people would want unique and updated designs, people would want to see new designs from you. So you better place them in your website. If you have attended seminars especially recent seminars, it would be good to place it in your information about yourself because that would also mean that you are updated.

If you are a diversed architect, and you are making designs of different genres like designs for houses, designs for establishments and many more, it would help if you would sort them and put them into categories. You should take note that viewers would want the easiest ways to surf the net, so when your website is in order they will be enticed to dig deeper in your website.

You can also place there some pictures of previous projects that you have made for a customer. You can also put a design which a customer instructed you to make. This would give the viewers of your website the idea that you are a flexible architect because you can make your own design for your customer or you can make a design which your customer is requesting. Remember to add a lot of pictures of your work because you would want to let people see much of your works so that they would be encouraged to hire you as their architect. Just be cautious though, you would not want your designs to be plagiarized or stolen so put some security measures to your website.

Also, place in your website how the people can contact you. Put there your home number, your cellular phone number, your email address and your address. Make your website appealing to your viewers and have a lot of possible customers. Design it in whatever way you want for as long as it will be still simple enough for your viewers to use.
