Web Design for Low Budgeted Websites
Because of the recession businesses are already cost cutting their expenses left and right. It’s the same thing for website owners who are paying a lot of money to maintain their websites. But there are those who are still willing to set up their own websites but in a low budget.
What could be the features of a low budgeted website?
1. Simple but informative:
Low budgets will generally call for a simple web design for a website. Just add some important information so that users will not look for more explanations on what they want to see in your web design. Simplicity can still be attractive to a lot of visitors. Actually, there are some internet enthusiasts that would prefer a simple web design rather than a complicated one. A complicated web design sometimes confuses visitors and it will be more difficult for them to navigate the website.
2. Compile and compress:
Instead of categorizing things into a lot of categories, making it more general will be an effective way for low budgeted websites. This presents fewer complications for the web designer, then it will naturally cost less. Just make sure that when you generalize your categories your visitors won’t get confused when they start searching for something.
3. Avoid using Flash animations:
A simple image will be enough for the visitors and your budget certainly calls for this. The image should still be as attractive as a flash animation. In exchange for 1 flash animation you could probably increase the number of images. Just remember not to put too little or too much. The amount of images you will place will still be a big factor for your viewer’s attention.
4. Make sure that there will be no problems in the web design in the near future:
Problems will eat up your budget if they would pop up unexpectedly and repeatedly. So make sure that there will be no problems in the web design in the near future. If a problem occurs quite late then it might just be fine, because by that time you would have already profited from your website and you won’t worry anymore.
Professional web designers can come up with the best design for your website, in the budget you specify. Make sure to contact one who will understand your needs and limitations.
