Whichever option you choose, the function of CMS is the same – it allows you, a layman user to upload or edit content on a site without knowledge of html. In fact, most good CMS packages will let you write content in a word processing package, and cut and paste.

You can also choose a hosted CMS option, which allows you to simply pay your host, upload content, and have a pretty much instant website.

There you have it – there is no need to learn html when you are designing your own site. Simply get yourself a reliable Content Management System, find yourself a suitable template, and you are about ready to publish your new site.
