To get unstuck somewhere on the process of web page design, any web page designer needs to be prepared for any kind of procrastination which could block your work schedule.

When I do web page design myself, especially if it is something that needs a new article idea or new web design, that’s also when ideas start to come in for other things I need to do.

For example, if I’m working on web page design, I write down the things that I need to do. Instead of starting from the top of my list, I start somewhere in the middle of my list. This is so because I would want to focus on the most important parts, just like when I am writing website content.

Web page design is similar to writing an article, and I usually have the same approach for both. Experience tells me that if I start from top to bottom of the list of things I’d need to do, I end up having difficulty in starting anything at all. If I’d start writing the title of an article, I get to realize that the contents somewhere in the middle no longer relate to the title, and so end up changing the title afterwards. The same is true in web page design, and focusing on the main important things in the middle would get you the momentum that you need.

In web page design, I usually do some rough writing on a sheet of paper, which will be easier to scratch out in case I want to make some changes right away. This can be pretty much old school, but I find a better way to brainstorm that putting all your ideas right away into the computer.
