•    How long have they been in business?

•    Can they cater to any type of business/industry?

•    Do they have a contract? ( It is very good to have everything in writing)

•    How reasonable are there prices?

•    Can they help you market your website?

•    Are they friendly?

•    Do they have an extensive portfolio?

•    Are they able to meet/exceed all of your web design needs?

•    Will they allow you to update your website yourself?

•    Will they allow you to host your website elsewhere?

•    Ask them who owns the website?

•    Are they affiliated with the Better Business Bureau?
