Web designers are advised to use Fireworks in their bid to create effective graphics for their site. One can create many attractive graphics using this program if they follow a few tips.

The position where graphics are pasted is important. They should be placed in areas where they can be seen clearly. The positioning should also be done in a manner that will allow them to supplement other content next to them. They must be therefore fit the context against which background they are posted. The Macromedia Fireworks has a Paste Inside option that designers can take advantage of to create unique graphics. The program provides numerous shapes where objects can be pasted.  These shapes may be illustrations of hearts, circles and diamonds among other objects.

Pasting inside can be achieved by following a simple procedure. The shape that one wants to paste the object in may be made using readily available tools in the Fireworks tool bar. The object, in the form of a photograph is then placed inside this shape. The shape with the photograph pasted inside it is then cut. The shape should be selected with an option of Paste Inside being exercised. This will result in the picture being placed inside the shape. Any other effects on the picture or adjustments will be made by simply moving the image around to arrive at the ultimate position. This leaves in the shape and image combining into a single entity. This object can be further edited using the select tool until one is satisfied with the resultant graphic.

Graphics can also be created and enhanced using photo optics. PhotoOptics helps to adjust various effects on the image being created. These include, color, brightness as well as contrast among others. One only needs to select the particular image they want to change, try it out and subject it to the different options under PhotoOptics. They can subsequently view the image under different effects such as tints, brightness and hues to select what they consider the most appropriate image.

Firework Effects is another tool that can change the outlook of graphics. The factors that control the appearance of images are usually shifted to create images that are satisfactory to the designer. Drop shadow, outer and inner bevel as well as glow are some of the effects that are applied to images. These effects may only be suited to a certain caliber of images such as single objects, headers, footers or small sized and big sized objects. One single effect is sufficient to change the total outlook of a web page.

Images to be used on a web site need to be subjected to a professional image editing process. Web designers can use Fireworks, PhotoOptics or any other appropriate software to carry out the image editing. They should also try to cast the image at varying transparencies if they want to produce attractive collages. The object palettes available in Fireworks can produce different levels of opacity.  These will create image transparency that should merge with images to create beautiful collages. Applying Feather onto the images and merging them is likely to improve the design and appearance of images. These are finally pasted inside the preferred object and posted onto the web page. One can perform the same procedure on different images hence produce an overall eye catching design.
