The search engines are on constant effort to mitigate the effects of black hat SEO strategies. Usage of these kinds of strategies will in the long run mar the existence of the website on the internet and take the site into oblivion.

As the internet platform is overwhelmed with too many websites fighting to prove their supremacy over one another, they are at loggerheads to maintain or gain a good page rank, beat the competitor and establish a niche for themselves. In the process, the websites are following both white hat as well as black hat SEO tactics. The time has proved many times that anything ethical is more permanent and gives a long lasting result and anything unethical leads to a momentary high but also follows a sharp fall. The gains are only short lived.
