Web design is more than simply writing code. The creative part is what takes the longest to develop and define. There are many stages to the web design process and understanding each and everyone correctly is essential for those who are considering a career as a web designer. We have discussed in previous articles  the first two stages of the web design process and we will discuss in the current article the last two.

After having established the structure and aesthetics of the future web site the web designer can begin implementing all the ideas that he and client have agreed upon. The coding stage is the longest and most laborious and it needs more concentration and effort than the others. However, if the first two stages of planning and basic design respectively were done properly and with much attention than the workload in this third stage should a bit easier.  Once the web designer has managed to complete a working model of the web site he will show it to the client for review and revision.

Once the client is satisfied with the final product the web site will be up for launching. Before committing to this stage the web designer should check and double check the web site to make sure that everything is working perfectly. Once the site has been launched the web designer should follow its performance closely for a few days and look for any eventual glitches and mistakes he might have missed and which might have appeared in the actual web design process or which occurred when the web site was uploaded to the server. If everything is well, and web site is running smoothly than it would be no surprise if the satisfied customer leaves a praising review of your work.

The web design process is a long and laborious one but when done properly and with the full cooperation of the client, the final product is a showcase of quality and professionalism.
