Florida Retreading of Ft Lauderdale, FL

Florida Retreading is a seller of retread tires to the trucking industry.  We created a website for http://www.floridaretreading.com to provide an on-line resource for local and national trucking companies to become more aware of the services and benefits available locally in Florida for retread tires.

Tires are one of the most expensive components of the trucking industry. A properly structured tire management system, utilizing their retreads, can reduce that cost by as much as 50%. Florida Retreading carries a wide range of tread designs and widths to meet every application. This enables them to create a system designed specifically for any truckers needs.

This site was a fun and challenging project.  The site was done as html hybrid with simple flash navigation – colors were selected by the client to mirror the look and feel of his print catalog.

The tread-finder page took quite a bit of framing work to create the tables to mirror the client’s print catalog.  The table format provides organization and framing style that is consistent with the project design and carries the necessary information about the treads any visitor might be interested in.  Because of the size of the page we installed customized navigation buttons on the top of the page to allow for ease of finding tread sections.  To maintain ease of navigation we included top navigation buttons back to the top of the page at each section break.

Images for this project came from istockphotos.com.  The client was able to easily select images from a wide range of industry specific images for this project… looking to capture the rough and tumble trucking industry was easy to do with the selection available from istock.com
